Bonus Card

I offered a Bonus Card to my Christmas in July card class which taught the attendees how to use different but coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP) to make any cards. You can use this design to use up pieces of DSP in your house. I do love the rich color of Evening Evergreen, it always makes beautiful holiday cards.

Cardstock/Paper:

Evening Evergreen 51/2in x 8 1/2in scored at 4 1/4in for base card, 3in x 3in piece for Handmade tag punch
Very Vanilla 4 x 5 1/4in (2 pieces), 3in x 3in piece for Decorative Circle punch
Dark green DSP 1 3/4in x 3 3/4in (watch direction of the design)
White starred DSP 1 7/8in x 3 3/4in
Soft Succulent bubble DSP 3/4in x 4in (for inside), 1 1/4 x 3 3/4in (for outside)

Assembly:

Adhere both pieces leaving a boarder around each piece with Stampin' Seal or Multipurpose Glue to one of the very vanilla pieces of cardstock. The pieces are intentionally not the same width. Then adhere lower DSP Soft Succulent piece. Adhere to the folded base card.

Punch the two pieces as mentioned above. Stamp with desired sentiment on Very Vanilla punched piece using Evening Evergreen ink. Adhere this piece to the Evening Evergreen punched piece. Place on card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Make a bow with coordinating ribbon (I used Open Weave Ribbon Evening Evergreen) and finish decorating with three gems, I used In Color Opal Rounds.

Inside:

Stamp your sentiment on the other Very Vanilla cardstock. I put additional stamped stars around the sentiment. Adhere the smaller strip of green DSP to the bottom of the inside vanilla piece. Adhere the whole piece to the inside of the card base.
