Gold foil paper for decorative star
This is a simple Christmas card. Fold the Sahara Sand cardstock and burnish with a bone folder. Just layer the pieces as show. Adhere the Sahara Sand DSP onto the front of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin' Seal. Put the DSP white with boughs on the Evening Evergreen cardstock with glue. Add it to the front of your card.
Cut out the large star with the dies in Evening Evergreen cardstock using the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine. Cut the decorative star in the gold foil paper as well. Adhere these together with the glue. Adhere to your card with either glue or Stampin' Dimensionals to give it some lift. This one is flat.
Using the smallest of the squarer Tailor Made Tags dies, cut out using the cutting machine. Wipe off the tag with an embossing buddy (to remove oils and fingerprints - some people use cornstarch). Stamp the sentiment "Noel" in Versamark and then sprinkle generously with Gold embossing powder and shake off excess. Using the heat tool, set the embossing powder (it is such fun to watch the change). Watch your fingers, this gets hot. I usually use my bone folder to hold down my piece and keep my fingers out of the way. Let this cool off for a few seconds.
Next use the gold trim from the Simple Elegant Trim pack (gold and silver), and make a bow in the hole of your tag. Adhere the tag to the front of the card using Dimensionals.
Now your card is done.
Don't forget to give your envelope that special touch as well.
