Heart To Heart - Love You Always DSP

February is naturally the time of love and making Valentines. But hearts and love can be used all year round. Did this card on a Facebook live with input from my fellow crafters. One of my favorites is the heart punch bundle found in our Annual catalog. 

First, I took Blushing Bride cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". 

The matting is in Roccoco Rose cardstock 4" x 5 1/4". I used some stamps from the February 2021 Paper Pumpkin. I took the "OXOX" stamp and used Blushing Bride ink and scattered them around the matting.  

With the scalloped heart punch I cut out two in Brushing Bride cardstock and one in Rococco Rose cardstock. 


With the other punch, I punched two hearts using the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) found in the Jan - Jun 2021 Mini catalog.  This is beautiful 12" x 12" specialty paper, the design is only on one side. The colors are Blushing Bride, Roccoco Rose and Sahara Sand. The paper is perfect for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and more. 

I also punched one in Whisper White (this has changed over to Basic White) cardstock.

TIP: Now, depending on the sentiment, it is better to first stamp the sentiment on a piece of the cardstock and then center in the punch you are using. 

In this card I used the sentiment from the Paper Pumpkin but a sentiment in Heart to Heart stamp set from the Annual Catalog would fit perfectly. 

I took about 7 inches of the Scalloped Linen Ribbon in Roccoco Rose and layer it down the left side and adhering it behind. Using Stampin' Dimentionals, I popped the matte (Roccoco Rose) onto the Blushing Bride card. I adhered the DSP heart to the scalloped Blushing Bride hearts and applied them to the card on opposite corners.  


I stamped the sentiment onto the Whisper White cardstock and punched out the heart.  I adhered this to the Rococco Rose scalloped heart.  Next, I added Stampin' Dimentionals and placed between the two other hearts on the front of the card.  

For the inside, I cut a Whisper White (Basic White) matte 4" x 5 1/4".  I stamped the Happy Valentine's Day using the Heart to Heart stamp set and added the OXOX from the Feb 2021 Paper Pumpkin.  I took a strip of the Specialty DSP 1" x 5 1/4" (watch the directionality of your paper) and adhered it to the side of the white cardstock with Stampin' Seal tape.   I adhered to the inside of the card with the same tape.  


I finished it off with a few embellishments I found in my craft room.

Fitting Florets Collection - graduation

Framed Florets Suite   I teach nursing students and they are graduating in a few weeks.  I thought I would make them a special card.  Fortunately it is not a large class.  I love blue and the blues in this card are just beautiful. Lights Aglow Suite - Christmas in July 1st Card

July Card Class 2022 - 1st Card Every July I hold a Christmas in July class.  The class consists of four different Christmas cards.  If you purchase $50 or more from me, you will receive the whole kit of 4 cards plus a bonus card and a PDF the recipes of each card. If anyone is like me, I send out tons of Christmas cards (around 100) and need to start preparing early so this is a perfect time.   Our new Mini catalog came out and it is filled with fun holiday cards and ideas.  I chose the Lights Aglow Suite because it offers so many opportunities for designs and creativity.  There is texture and beautiful DSP (designer series paper).  The suite includes stamp sets, coordinating dies, great sentiments, ribbon, pearls and glitter paper.  It also has foil paper which I chose not to use here.  This card design is from another demo, Laura Zimmerman, and I just loved it!
