Sympathy Card True Love DSP

I created this Sympathy Card as a black and white challenge. Sadly, we all need one at some time but you can add any sentiment you want of course and it would be lovely  

Card Base is standard 5.5" x 8.5", scored at 4.25" in Basic Back cardstock.  

The matte is Whisper White (yes I still have some) and was 4" x 5.25".   It was run through the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder using the regular size Cutting and Embossing machine. All of these items are found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog  

The flower is from the True Love Designer Series Paper (DSP) and was cut out with scissors. This paper is in the Jan-Jun 2021 Mini Catalog.  The designs in this paper grouping are all black and white but can easily be colored in with our Stamping Blends.  

The patterned paper is also from the same DSP and measures 1.5" x 4".  It was adhere to the white embossed paper with our Liquid Glue.  

The solid black piece behind the flower 2 1/8" x 3 5/8". The flower is glued to this piece and then the whole piece is popped with black dimentionals. 

I finished the look with some black embellishments called Matte Black Dots from the Jan-Jun 2021 Mini Catalog.

Fitting Florets Collection - graduation

Framed Florets Suite   I teach nursing students and they are graduating in a few weeks.  I thought I would make them a special card.  Fortunately it is not a large class.  I love blue and the blues in this card are just beautiful. I saw this design by another demonstrator, Paula Barin, and she did it as a fun fold.  I changed it a little to make it simpler for me - especially for making in bulk.   Balmy Blue card stock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/2".  Then cut 1 inch from the front side of the card.      Piece to cut oval with Fitting Florets dies Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper (DSP) - 3" x 5 1/4 " for front of card Fitting Florets DSP coordinating piece - 1" x 5 1/4" for inside piece Basic White card stock - 3" x 5 1/4" for inside, piece to cute oval using dies      Piece to stamp and die cut flowers.  Soft Succulent card stock - piece to die cute leaf Pearl embellishments.  First I cut out the oval, using the die with my Stampin

Lights Aglow Suite - Christmas in July 1st Card

July Card Class 2022 - 1st Card Every July I hold a Christmas in July class.  The class consists of four different Christmas cards.  If you purchase $50 or more from me, you will receive the whole kit of 4 cards plus a bonus card and a PDF the recipes of each card. If anyone is like me, I send out tons of Christmas cards (around 100) and need to start preparing early so this is a perfect time.   Our new Mini catalog came out and it is filled with fun holiday cards and ideas.  I chose the Lights Aglow Suite because it offers so many opportunities for designs and creativity.  There is texture and beautiful DSP (designer series paper).  The suite includes stamp sets, coordinating dies, great sentiments, ribbon, pearls and glitter paper.  It also has foil paper which I chose not to use here.  This card design is from another demo, Laura Zimmerman, and I just loved it!
